Aster Clinics in the UAE (2026): Every Branch, by Emirate

Aster DM Healthcare operates 21 Aster-branded clinics across the UAE in our directory — more than any other single clinic chain in the country. The branches stretch from Fujairah to Umm Al Quwain, with the densest clusters in Dubai and Sharjah. This guide lists every branch by emirate, opening hours, and which branches accept walk-ins on the DHA and MoHAP Essential Benefits Plans.

Aster's UAE network sits inside Medical & Healthcare listings across all 13 UAE cities in our July 2026 snapshot. Of the 863 approved listings, 21 carry the Aster name — a mix of Aster Medical Centre branches (DM Healthcare legacy), Aster Medical Center branches (newer naming convention), and one Aster Pharmacy 180 and Clinic hybrid. Aster's chain structure means consistent service quality, broad insurance participation, and the longest walk-in hours of any UAE clinic chain.

The 21 Aster Branches, by Emirate

Aster's UAE footprint skews toward the Northern Emirates and Dubai's working-class belts — Muhaisnah, Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, Al Qusais — rather than the luxury-residential clusters of Jumeirah or Downtown Dubai. This positioning shapes everything from pricing (mid-tier) to hours (late) to language coverage (Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Arabic, English).

What Does an Aster Consultation Cost?

Aster's pricing sits in the mid-tier across all emirates. GP consultations typically run AED 150 to AED 250 cash — higher than budget independents like New Sanaiya or Cost Care, but lower than hospital outpatient clinics like Saudi German Hospital Dubai or Mediclinic City Hospital. The chain's pricing is consistent across branches, with a 10 to 15 percent premium at the specialist-led locations (Aster Specialist Medical Center in Ajman).

With DHA or MoHAP Essential Benefits Plan coverage, GP consults at most Aster branches drop to AED 0 to AED 25 co-pay. The exception is Aster Specialist Medical Center in Ajman, which sits outside the EBP network for non-referred visits. Read our UAE insurance guide for the full EBP mechanics.

Insurance Networks: Which Aster Branches Accept What?

All 21 Aster branches accept Daman, Nextcare, MetLife, Oman Insurance, and ADNIC. The Dubai branches also accept DHA EBP; the Sharjah, Ajman, RAK, Fujairah, and UAQ branches accept MoHAP EBP. Cross-emirate coverage typically works (a Dubai Daman plan direct-bills at Aster Sharjah branches), but the Dubai-only basic EBP plan restricts to DHA facilities — meaning an Aster MoHAP-licensed branch will bill as out-of-network. See our DHA vs MoHAP explainer for the full license comparison.

How to Choose an Aster Branch (Decision Recap)

  • For late-night walk-ins in Dubai, choose Aster Cedars Clinic (Jebel Ali) or Aster Medical Centre Al Muhaisnah — both open until 23:00.
  • For Sharjah primary care, choose Aster Al Nahda Medical Center - 1 — the longest hours and broadest insurance.
  • For Ajman family medicine, choose Aster Medical Centre Br (Ajman) in Al Nuaimiyah.
  • For Ajman specialist care, choose Aster Specialist Medical Center — appointment only.
  • For Northern Emirates coverage, the Fujairah, RAK, and UAQ single branches are the only Aster options in those emirates.
  • For pharmacy-plus-clinic hybrid, choose Aster Pharmacy 180 and Clinic Express Clinic in JBR.
